L322 Wheels On A P38?

I’ve got the hub ring and the correct wheelnuts now, but it wasn’t easy! :) The L322 had different wheelnuts in the first serie, hole in the rim was 20 mm, later it was 23 mm.
3 sets of rims, all with their own nuts! It’s almost nuts! :)

Maybe I'm an idiot but I've never torqued a wheel nut.
I just do them pretty tight, and then a nudge more for luck.
This is probably tighter than 140nm, but nowhere near as tight as they come back from the tyre fitters.
When I put wheel nuts on I only use a 1foot bar, that’s plenty.
But mainly so if in the event M has to change a wheel she can stand on the 2foot bar.
Tyre fitters and their handy windy guns need a slap I have to agree.

L322 wheels on a P38? What diameter are they? If more than 18" they are not homologated in the EU for the P38 which may give you insurance problems. Also do not be surprised if you get a lot of steering shake. Your speedo may also be inaccurate.
The torque setting is the setting required for the wheel, so the L322 torque should be used but as Montyjohn said I never use a torque wrench on wheels.
I never used to but, I do now, I think a lot of the time torque settings are so you don't over tighten things.
