Seems strange to me that both turbo's should fail at the same time. I wonder if there is a lubrication issue?
L322 tdv8 3.6 Engine Failure.

I would check with other garages. If the turbos are £1000 each (refurbs probably less & most have 24 month warranty), then they are either marking them up or charging a lot for labour.

You need new glasses, fail to crank, not crank fail.

You are right, I do need new glasses but getting them in France is proving difficult. Broken crank was raised earlier.

Depending on year/mileage and sniff test, might wanna do head gaskets while you're in there
If you read the first post I was awaiting recovery and it was taken straight to a rr garage as I have nowhere to keep it , but thanks for not reading properly and losing interest.
And I suppose if you had read the posts, they were in response to my post and a different bloke with similar engine, so reading posts is key

And if you read my post correctly you would have realised I was referring to my mates failed rr, nothing todo with your break down.
