I'm just going to put this out there. Stop comparing your vehicle to BMWs you have had. Despite sharing some parts, the L322 is not a BMW especially the gearbox.
In the automatic transmission from land Rover, there is a different number of clutches, other springs of hydraulic accumulators, and a slightly different design of the torque Converter. There are no fundamental differences. I got tired of GM 5L40E, I put ZF 5HP24 from BMW E38.

?
I wasn't commenting on your post, but hey ho.

Я плохо владею техническим английским, но знаю, как работает 5L40E. Я был бы рад развлечь тебя;)
You can write reams in English but switch to russian for that? Weird
I will tell you though , whilst you could possibly amuse, you are not up to entertaining me.

Bored already.

@Andrey2123

I think you have an admirer, her name is gold-rover vinegar tits.

:D

Haha, you made me laugh :)) Here's a winter photo. From the North of Russia;)
Believe me, I drive a lot in this car, and I know a lot about Range Rover l322 m57

Lovely, hedges could do with a trim...;)

Oh, and well done on the transmission conversion, someone else here has converted his L322 to manual transmission, and I think it's wonderful that engineering feats like yours and his seems to get up a few miserable peoples noses on here.

oh and I think you speaking Russian to her is making her knees tremble.:p

I was thinking of installing a manual transmission, but it's very expensive. And it's hard to find spare parts. What would all connect bolt on, I do not know what parts are needed. The transmission from the X5 E53 bolt on does not get up, it has a different output shaft and it does not fit with the transfer case from the Range Rover.

And why I put ZF-the repair price of 5L40E was about 2500€ (because for its correct operation, you need a new hydroblock, the one that is in the crankcase). The transition to ZF, with its complete repair, came out to me in 2000€.

Her knees are shaking every night, ahahaha: D

I cannot remember the name of the person who did the manual conversion, it was within the last year but he only posted in someone elses thread if my memory serves (which it usually doesn't)... @badfluffy ?

It was very amusing, basically some were dismissing it as 'impossible' or 'it won't work' or that's tantamount to treason, lmao...
but in no time at all he had achieved his desire and only had to decide about a gearshift gaiter!:p

He should pull his finger out and do a step by step tutorial for others to follow.

I'm sure someone will post his name if they know.

I saw a photo on instagram: it still has a lot of levers in the armrest. And the car is very elevated. Could it be him? Everything is possible, if there is a desire.

I have a problem with transfer box neutral, I need to fix the transfer box drive position sensor. You've found a cheap solution to the problem?

I don't think that's Russian.:D

But wouldn't they melt?
I'd far rather be Baltic than sweltering tbh.
