Hi all
Got my first real fault on the Range Rover it’s the M57 3.0 litre bmw engine and as it’s gets to operating temperature it cuts out. It’s done this several times and it’s not at any particular point in the Rev range. Every time before when it’s happened it has just cut out however today when it happened it flagged up the fuel injection system fault on the screen then continued running but on 5 cylinders. These are the faults that have come up everytime it’s happened.
1260 low pressure fuel side plausibility
1190 fuel rail pressure plausibility.
Cause:
Maximum pressure exceeded
Minimum pressure for engine speed too low
Rail pressure increase
Regulator valve at limit and pressure too low
Regulator valve jammed.
I have already changed the pump under the passenger wheel arch. However should the fuel be a steady stream from the pipe going into the fuel filter? As mine is coming out in little bursts? Even with the new one. Even changed the fuel filter and that’s made no difference
