Hi All got a problem with my 2010 RR V8, came up with active dynamic fault initially and rear right level sensor open circuit, replaced the sensor which was a bitch due to the captive nuts spinning drove for day but now just comes up with suspension fault and drops to the teeth rattling range. I've checked out the other leveling valves all seem ok, checked the top strut sensor wiring and all secure.. seems that when I drive for more than 30 seconds above 30 mph it then all kicks off .. any ideas would be appreciated rather than to take it to the steallers for them to tell me they cant find anything wrong and charge me £125 for the privilege like they did yesterday!!!!!

what diagnostics?
Can you run it with live recording and see what its doing when it all goes screwy?

Did you use the correct sensor for the later L322 with adaptive suspension?

The captive nuts are a PITA, also did you put the sensor on the right way around?
Sounds like it is going past the threhold where it will want to be in normal height , if you had a different height selected and then is defaulting.

Cheers

Think it was the correct sensor .. purchased from bearmach for that model, the rear sensors aren't handed apparently.. I've not run live diagnostics but I guess that's the next stage ..

They are not handed , but did you somehow manage to get the elbow going the wrong way? If it is even possible?

Good luck.

Cheers

The plug always points to outward from the vehicle so should be right .. we'll see what happens on the live run and I'll feed back .. at least it's not saying active dynamic fault now ...

Ok so I found the rear OS sensor open circuit replaced that but still having problems took it to an independent specialists who found that when it goes into hunker down mode at 50mph the NS front didnt travel as much as the other 3 hence the difference being out of spec between them all... new sensor and happy days ..for now !!! I'm thinking of getting the icarsoft CR Pro tool to do future readings .. any recommendations or thoughts ?

Glad your sorted.
You gets what you pay for:)
The Icarsoft is cheapish (I have no experience with it) but I like our IID Gap might be more money but:) check your year first but should be ok.

what was the cost of the Indy to diagnose it?if you don’t mind:) IID would have already covered it’s cost at a guess;)

Yours goes into hunker down mode?

Well doesn't drop like the earlier L322 but over 50mph the suspension does drop ever so slightly and stiffen up for motorway or higher speed driving

Not sure of that as I am lead to believe ours won’t drop to motorway till it’s way faster than that, which is annoying.

I prefer the P38 motorway setting.
