L322 L322 radio doesn't work

Hello!
I'm new to the forum, Im from Austria and I own a 2009 Range Rover TDV8.
It has been sitting for one and a half years and I decided to bring it back on the road.
A suspension bag blew, which I already replaced. Everything else besides the radio seems to work just fine.
I know the radio worked before, so I have no idea why standing causes it to break.

So, just for further explanation. Its not freezing like Ive seen a few times already. Its dead. The screen doesnt turn on, the buttons dont light up, nothing.

Any idea how to fix this? The fuse is okay, so thats out of the way.

PS: anything else I should look out for because the car has been sitting for so long?
 
Hi I had same problem , I found a fix were the fibre optics weren't reading each other near the Nokia box , I found it on you tube
 
Check for any damp in the boot side panel with all the ICE amp, computers etc a common problem.

Did you have to jump start it at all? If so, did you do it 'by the book'?
 
I had to install a new battery. Didn't jump start it. I'll check the rear panel. Thanks!

Did you follow LR book procedure when disconnecting/refitting the battery, waiting for sat Nav LED light to go out etc?

They have been known to fry certain ECU's etc when swapping batteries, (tend to be ICE related) jump starting etc. I think more common on the earlier 322's but could still be an issue with the later ones.

The battery was changed in the shop alongside the suspension. I guess and hope they knew what they were doing since it's a Land Rover Shop (not just some guy in a shed)

IME, that means feck all except massive bills.;) one "service manager " who have half an idea but can ring up head orifice for guidance so he can tell the fitters what to change.:eek:
