L322 problems

HI ALL,JUST BOUGHT A 2003 VOGUE (PETROL) TWO WEEKS AGO.
LOW ON COLLNT WHEN I TEST DROVE IT. SO WHEN I PICKED IT UP I TOOK MY MY TRUSTY COOLANT PRESSURE TEST AND EXHAUST GAS TESTER WITH ME, ALL WAS FINE. hELD PRESSURE, FLUID BLUE. DROVE IT BACK, NO ISSUES BUT NOW 2 WEEKS DOWN THE LINE I CAN SMELL COOLANT BUT NO LEAKS ON THE DRIVE. POWER FOLD KNACKERED ON THE DRIVERS SIDE WING MIRROR PLUS HEATED SEAT WONT STAY ON. ANY IDEAS ON THE SEAT? RELAY ETC. ANT ONE SELL WING MRRORS CHEAPER THAT THOSE ROBBERS ON EBAY

check the rad out as these are common place to leak, also i am pretty sure the coolant fluid should be pink if its the correct fluid. If you want you can replace both the mirrors for the later plastic version (the one thats on the later models) for the same price as one of the original ones (the original ones are made of a block of aluminium thats why they are so expensive) with regards to the heated seat, it is more than likely the heating element is broke, my heated steering wheel has the same issue, the light just flashes. If you have a diagnostic system then you could read the fault codes.

thanks for the reply, the seat switch turns off nearly straight awat. this is why i suspect relay Snap on scanner coming out of retirement.

your scanner wont work on these cars, you need the specialist diagnostic tool either TestBook T4 (what the dealers use) or the after market Faultmate System (from Blackbox Solutions)
