Hi everyone.
This is my first post and I'm pretty distressed!!! I've just realised I've lost my car key. What's the best way to go about replacing it and what are the expected costs? Main dealer only I suspect?
Would be grateful of any tips!
Best wishes
Craig

Hi,
That was for a P38,
BTW you can only get 4 keys for the car?.. So this one will be number 3!.... + you will need a spare, the bill is nearer £260,?, good luck
Also i put mine in the ignition to programme the fob,
Hope this helps

My key for a L322 was £90 + half hours labour to program it... £140 ish. Dont know anything about 4 keys max

Yes. the £90 was for the actual key, which is cnc cut to physically fit the car. If you took the key like this, it would open the lock, but nothing else. The electronic programming bit was done at dealer. Took half an hour.

oh! i know how it feels when you lose your car keys! i was feeling so frustrated when for two weeks i couldn't drive my car!! it was parked in the car park of my office! because i couldn't find my key any more. i still don't have any idea of how it happened! anyway! after days of researching and reading forums, someone advised me to go here SEARCH UK mobile car auto locksmith replacement car key suppliers | Car Keys costs | Key Speclaists | Trasponder Remote Fobs to look for a locksmith, i was considering the fact of buying an after-market key on ebay but then reading online about the negative experiences of the others i preferred paying a difference of £30 to a locksmith and get a good quality car key done!:clap2:
