L322 Gearbox broke

Going into work yesterday with 4 guys in my range, start hearing a whining sound from the gearbox.

Eventually got the car to a garage today where they think the oil pump has shattered requiring a recon gearbox and about 1 weeks work - over bank holidays. Only had the car about 2 weeks

Warranty company will pay for the first 1k after they've examined the ins and outs

Just paid £2100 to get my box reconned, let them have a look at it. Sympathise with you, I was very nearly considering killing the whole world when mine went
