Hi All,
After having to get my autobox reconditioned earlier in the month I was looking forward to a bit of reliability :).
Jumped in it this morning and got EAS suspension fail message and the rear of the vehicle sunk onto the bumpstops. Having the RSW eas kicker I am able to reset the faults and get the compressor running again only to have the fault back after a few seconds. Rear doesn't move and front I think is frozen at usual ride height. The kicker is reporting 'resovoir pressure drops on filling' so I am assuming a leak on the system but I can't find one.
Any ideas whatI should check or does anyone know a good indy in Birmingham who knows his EAS. Thanks very much. Oh and its a 2003 HSE TD6

Hi again. After exhaustive tests I can only assume the compressor has had it. According to rave the system pressure is 13 bar or nearly 200psi so I guess I shouldn't be able to put my finger over the compressor outlet pipe and stop the flow... or should I, is the pump a relatively low output? does anyone know what the compressor pump output should be? Cheers Ian

Had a similar thing happened to me. Would only work for an hour or two then all the lights would come on the dash :-(
Good news is its a doddle to fit a new compressor and the one i got cost £300.

Thx

The actual fault is pressure static when filling pump fubar
As far as I know there is not any aftermarket repair kits at this time I only use gen exchange units
