Thank you, it's now sorted. I've recently replaced the engine and I had put the sensor back on 180 degrees rotated. Instead of the sensor arm pointing outward it was pointing inward. Nothing g was damaged except the air suspension inactive warning was on for a short while after I corrected the problem. [emoji3]

Thanks guys. Just need to recal my air suspension now as it looks ever so slightly not level. I had it MOT 'd and I need to get hold of a rear stabiliser link bar and the height sensor bar also (not the plastic arm) for the off side. When I've fitted these I will complete an eas calibration so it's perfectly level.
What's the cheapest option available to recal the eas? I have an OBD2 cable but no software. Is any free software available to do this?
Also , where is best to get the stabiliser link etc?

Cheapest way to calibrate the suspension yourself would be to get an All Comms device
This is a great bit of kit, will read and clear faults, calibrate your air suspension and more !
And will soon pay for its self after just a few uses

The RSW All comms has been designed purely for the range rover.
other readers that cover many models don't often have much functionality with the range rovers ECU modules

My money will always be on the Allcomms if buying new as it was designed and maintained by Storey Willson who actually designed it after owning an L322. The backup from him is also excellent.
If you can pick up a second hand Faultmate MSV2 with an L322 license already so all you pay is the transfer fee then that is the ultimate in my opinion, unless you have bundles of cash to buy a new one.
i haven't heard anything bad about the icarsoft and a couple of people have used it to read and clear faults which is the key as some tools will only read them.

But in terms of functionality does the hawkeye do the same things as the all comms like calibrating suspension and programming modules?

Allcomms definitely does calibrate the air suspension, i cant see that the bearmach will do that on a pre 2006 model, link to the manual below.
I have never used the bearmach or the icarsoft, I have an allcomms and faultmate and i know that the Allcomms is the favourite on here generally for the L322.

I've seen on another forum that you can use BMW DIS for various things with the range rover, has anyone got any experience with this?

Not me, it looks like dealer software and i would imagine pricey and wouldn't cover all the range rover specific features at a guess
I will give it a shot and report back as I have full DIS on my laptop.
