L322 3.6 TDV8 [2007] vs 4.4 Petrol [2003]

My opinion would be that you should buy the car you want. I've had a 3.6 and 4.4 TDV8, both facelift, I like them. Also had a 2008 3.6 TDV8, they're all brilliant in their own way. at 205k I would imagine a lot of the things that would need addressing may well have already been done.

You've got a healthy maintenance pot so I'd say "go for it". Enjoy.

Sound advice. Got a call about the 4.4 AJV8 tomorrow N/A. If the service history looks okay, I will probably put an offer in. Take it straight down to get a service and all the oils changed.

Then just roll with it. Expect the worst, hope for the best...
