L-series payload

so just noticed that my vcu dose not have a rubber dapper. dose this mean someone has fitted the v6 prop. the person that owned it before told me that when he got the car it had no prop and he got a second hand one put on. i am not worried about small vibration's. is there any difference in the slip of the vcu on a v6?

I suspect that only the engineers at LR and GKN know what the actual difference between the 4 cylinder and V6 VCUs.
To us mortals, the only way to tell is the inclusion or absence of the damper mounting flange.

In reality, most people who remove the damper because it's damaged, don't notice any difference to vibration.
