This is probably obvious to most, except me. What was this armrest? It's in a 2000 Vogue Autobiography. I'd like to fix all the little knick knicks now the mechanics are mostly OK. A previous juvenile has ruined the armrest to make way for children's games inputs to the headrest screens. I've been looking for a replacement but never seen one like it. I've got another 2000 Vogue with the standard cup holders thing and the only other type I've seen has nothing, but what was in the space in this one surrounded by the piping?

Other things I'd like to know. How do the rear screens work? Was there a remote? Front screen as well, there are no buttons. Do I just think nice thoughts to turn them on?
(Mr. Plonker also removed the GPS receiver, boot CD and wiring.)

The way that has been stitched with the black over the original i would say some one has played, it dose not look original quality or holland & holland or overfinch.

The foam has been moulded to accept something...but not the cup holder mechanism.
I wondered if it might have been the controls for the screens. In which case I'm stuffed, never find another one.

I'm sure that was where a VHS player was in some cars.

My screens came on with ignition and a source connected. The headphones are infrared and the transmitter is in the rear ashtray (ashtray removed)

Thank you, that does help. I can try looking for one now I know what to look for. I haven't got the headphones either, there are some audio controls on a tiny panel on the C posts on both sides of the rear seats. Under the driver's seat is a tuner or filter ( I need to go and look and take some more photos) and a TV receiver under the steering column with an antenna at the top of the windscreen. It's all pretty Heath Robinson, no proper mounts for anything, just cable ties, doesn't look like something even Land Rover would do.
The screens do flicker but there are switches in the front centre armrest to turn them on. These don't look right either, mounted on a carpet, raising the floor of the armrest so high that nothing really fits in. the switches are rocker switches and anything in the armrest will sit on top of them, that can't be right?
As I'm writing this I've realised what the string bags on the roof behind the rear seats are for...the heaphones.
I'll take some more photos and hopefully get some more information on this car.

Thank you, all pieces of information to put together. Apologies for all the questions, I'd like to find out about all the missing bits.

The two switches in the centre armrest are power to the screens. Is this original?
These controllers were in the car. I'm assuming the VDO one is for the front screen. Is the other one original? Is it for TV in the back?
What do you point the TV controller at? I can't see any IR receiver.
The switches on the C post, 1.2.3.4. What are they?

The rear centre armrest has a metal rail running all the way to the back, inside it.
