Seems to me that several of us are giving away our ages by revealing detailed knowledge of a certain Magic Roundabout!

Personally, I rather liked Ermintrude the Cow. That Dillon the Hare looked like a randy bastard and I reckon he was on dope all the time. Brian the Snail was a nasty little creep though, and as for Florence, well, I reckon most of us boys would have given her what for any time! I mean, that dress .... could you just imagine HybridGirl lasting long if she showed up dressed like that?

The good old innocent days ....

I tow with a caving rope - resists abrasion and not too stretchy. Climbing ropes have too much stretch. There's not much else you can do with a rope over three years old. Not sure I'd trust it in extreme situations though.

i use lifting strops from my site im told these got a safety factor of 7(ie 7x the listed weight).Are these suitable?Not had any problems yet but it only takes one....

I have a TON of 15 foot lengths of fat polypropylene ropes if people want them at a pound a pop.
