My new td5 I picked up yesterday has had a new barrel apparently.
This is the sequence needed to start/lock/unlock the car....
To get in you can press the fob to unlock as normal, then to start the car you have to insert a separate blank key into the ign, then press unlock to deactivate the immobiliser before turning to start.
To lock you have to use the fob key in the door lock to lock it.Apparently using the fob sets off the alarm??
What’s happened here? What’s the solution?
I want two fobs for the car eventually and the same key to start the thing!!
Any help or advice is always appreciated
