Hi All,
I still have a Working Key FOB! Just!!
But it's starting show its age and usage o_O
The Landrover push button has now disintegrated, so was left with a hole in the centre.
Have temporarily fixed it with a block of wood covering the switch button??:rolleyes: and black nasty (Gaffa Tape!!), it's still working :D

Question, if I get a blank key FOB? Can I transfer the electronic elements from old to new????

Yes and for once I am talking from knowledge as I have done it.
Get a kit off eBay comes with fob, microswitches and a key blank. I got two.
Easypeasy!

It's a while since I did it but I don't think so and I am also fairly sure the kit came with spare batts too.
Think you should be able to swop them over with the batt still in, but no, thinking about it the driver's manual tells you how to swap batts in the fob so there can't be a problem. :)
