Hi all,

I have managed to wreck the one and only key fob for my 2006 defender. To make the situation worse the door locks are stuck! So I am stuck out of the car! Without a fob to unlock it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

What have you done to the fob? it might be possible to remove / transfer the electronics to a new case if the pcb isn't broken.

The PCB is recked.

Managed to re solder the circuit board + add some botches. Will get a new one but fixed for the minuet!

Yep Ive got the feeling that it is a very temporary fix... It involved a lot of dodgy fixing!

I recently used this company to get me out of trouble - I managed to activate a immobiliser on my Td5 with a newly acquired nanocom, but didn't have a fob to de-activate it!!

This guy does a postal service although I rode down to his house to pick up the bits - he really knows his stuff!!

On a plus side I now have 2 immobilisers!!
