Seen a few repair kits on eBay for the key fob... the usual batteries, cover and buttons fubar'd. Wondering if this will fix my key fob, tho looking at it I reckon there's more than just a battery missing.

Anyone got a pic of the fob with the batteries out? Pic of mine attached....

Looks ok mate, pic was a little blured on phone screen. Check to see if the battery prongs are present and I take it you have the battery carrier. Re key refurbished kits most on flea bay are good.

Looks like negative connector is missing from circuit board. Other than that pic not good enough to see much else.

Sorry guys, should've checked my work before handing it in.... it's ridiculously blurred in hindsight!

Doesn't seem to be any pick up points for the battery, pos or neg.

As i said negative pickup is definately missing. Should be a round plate visible in middle of board as you look at it with three prongs on it. Can't really see if positive is there or not because of bad pic. But there should be a flat bar running side to side along bottom of opening looking towards key. If that is also missing it is knackered.

Thanks for all the replies lads, not even worth taking a better pic, all there is in the battery case is the circuit board, not prongs, thongs or otherwise.

Will just have to cut down on the beer and get one from LR.
