I bought Dopey's car from him Monday night. I was easily sold on the length of ownership and it's well documented past on the forum. Had a very comfortable journey home from heathrow (about 70 or so miles). I kept it at 50 most of the way as the EAS light had just come on that day so was aware that it wouldn't want to squat on the motorways.
We went on a walk earlier today, first real outing since collecting on Monday night, the dogs approve
MOT due on Valentine's day, needs a ball joint gaitor on each side - apparently there's a version that can be bought which is spliced and can be glued back together which is handy as I've read what's involved in removing the ball joint haha
Couple of jobs to get to when I get to them too as Dopey had said, such as swapping the dab radio from my current daily, investgating the heater system are up there for daily driving comfort purposes, and spraying sensors for eas with contact cleaner. I'm going to try getting the buffer on the bonnet and above the doors too to see if I can bring the paint back in places.
Will try to post regularly updates as we get out and about picking up materials for the house, tip runs and general dog daddy duties
