i was wondering if they are any good? do they increase MPG or are they just a load of hairy man balls

ive always used k+n on all my cars
never had any problems you can get more mpg but if you put your foot down your mpg goes down too!!!
ive got one fitted to my td4
they cost more but you never have to buy another air filter.

Saves money and is better for the environment - less waste as they last 100,000 miles/ten year vs. the 10,000/one year of the paper ones.
