wahey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! am back hehe! just getting pics off my phone with vids!!!! you know i wont let yer down lads. well got home at 8 last night then spent some time with the mrs due to being gone for 2 days! hehe.
got back there at first light the next day, managed to go through 3 3.5 tonne tirfors, 3 recovery strops, 2 landrover chassis recovery points, had to recover the RRC by the guard due to snapping the standard recovery points, landrover bolts gave in thus ripping the guard off.
managed to move the disco about 4 ft in 8 hours worth of work before giving to getting a tractor at the cost of 200 quid.
Bit of discrepensy which i will go and sort out later as the guy driving the tractor wasa jobswrth and when we told him to stop as the chains has wrapped around the steering arms and axle claimed it would be fine and it would untangle themselfs and just floored it then this resulted in both steering arms being ripped off along with the steering box from the chassis, the stainless back box has been ripped off.
I am refusing to pay as we infromed him not to pull as it would cause ex amount of damage and we never signed a waver to say that the garage is not liable for any damage that results wich we should have done before and job like this is undertaken. the recovery was just to the nearest rd where we had to come back and get the wagon then go back for the RRC.
tell you what though, to get that far down the path they done well ill give them that!!!
pics and vids follow.....................

raz wot lane where they on
it int a green lane mate, its private land owned by shell in ellsemere port. slap bang between the back of the vauxhall plant and the ship canal.
I think its landfill/wasteground. got a bit of everything there over a few hundred acres.

ok no need to mark me maps then, av ya picked up your 110 yet? or is that on hold wiv messin about wiv the stuk pair?

got me 110 on sat aft, aint had a chance to look at it yet, took it the jet wash on the way back, some TFR and a good blast gave me a good idea of the chassis condition. 2 outriggers on the N/S and a plate where it has a bad patch on the rear cross member is all it needs, the rest seems good, very good indeed, but of work on the outer bulkhead what i would call the scuttle panel on a car but the rest is good to go, heavy duty salsbury back axle on drums, had a drive of it and apart from needing sound deadening its very good, quick, smooth changes, nice clutch. could work out to be a bargin buy.

we did mention that 2 him, but he knew it all mate, he got stuck himself twich and need a shove from the RRC to get him going again and he was in difflock 2.
