225/75s or 235/70s, either way, they'll be on modulars as I have 15" allys on and they'll be the same tyres as you- AT3 Coopers.
 
Oi, I thought of it first when you still had allys and spacers!!! :D

Shame you can't try one of the wheels on an unlifted Freelander front and rear.... ;)

Wouldn't make a difference whether the car is lifted or not, the struts are always in the same place ;)
 
Yeah I know, but I'm talking about general clearance all round. I guess it should be same as you had with normal wheels and spacers?

My tyres rubbed slightly on lock when I had standard wheels and spacers on, on the plastic arch liner, now with mods on, they don't rub at all. All I can put this down to is that with the wider wheel the tyre sits better on the rim and sits more uniform so the sidewall doesn't bulge as much, as really 225's are a bit overkill for 6" wheels
