225/75's? Don't forget you need spacers, and you cant go with silly pattern MT's, just conservative AT's or road biased tyres

225/75s or 235/70s, either way, they'll be on modulars as I have 15" allys on and they'll be the same tyres as you- AT3 Coopers.

Wouldn't make a difference whether the car is lifted or not, the struts are always in the same place

Yeah I know, but I'm talking about general clearance all round. I guess it should be same as you had with normal wheels and spacers?

My tyres rubbed slightly on lock when I had standard wheels and spacers on, on the plastic arch liner, now with mods on, they don't rub at all. All I can put this down to is that with the wider wheel the tyre sits better on the rim and sits more uniform so the sidewall doesn't bulge as much, as really 225's are a bit overkill for 6" wheels

Cool... Seems I can get a better deal on 235/70/16s and they're slightly shorter too so I'll prob go for those.

Yep they're about a tenner a tyre cheaper so I've found, nice little saving when you buy 5, pays for the fitting!
