Just renewed my insurance...
Used to be with Privilege, had to declare a few more mods and they wanted £694 with a £450 excess
(and thats with 6 years no claims).
Rang NFU Mutual (local office), declared all mods, £315 with a £250 excess. Wen't through all the details a second time cos I was sure they'd missed something, but no, £315, now thats a result. I'm still in shock .
Privilege said it was cos of the bull bar, adds on 25% to the policy. NFU said as long as all mods are declared they base it on the value of the vehicle (including mods).
