good point well put, just saved £200 bills :beer2:

So whats the score with the wheels, do some 4x4ers see them as antisocial or what.

Trail bikes make more ruts :scratching_chin:

Think he means some gates and lanes might be too narrow to let wheels that wide down ... certainly know a few round here, indeed last weekend when I took a couple out green-laning the second lane was only just wide enough for a stock RR/Disco without serious (possibly illegal) deviation from the track.

Reds point is if ya need them wheels ya shouldnt drive the lane.Keep em for the real difficult pay n play.Horses is worse for chewing the lanes, and if me dog ****s by the road a nifty fifty fine, but if redrum lays some road apples then none cares.Bastuids-and they all got rangies to pull em too!

Yep extreme mud tyres are for pay and play. Around here If you can't get down a lane on AT's then it's not fit to drive. Because there is very little or no stone underpining the lanes, they get chewed up really easily. and a set of extreme muds like yours, would tear the surface to pieces.

It's unfortunate but that's the way it is round here. if you're laning in Wales most of the lanes are rock based or on salisbury Plain there's a solid chalk underlayer. that helps to save the lanes from getting ripped up. and you can get away with massive mud tyres.

Also I've done lanes where people have flattened their wheel arches on the gate posts. It's been that tight. I've even done one lane where the only vehicle to get thru was an SJ everyone else had to turn around.

And heres my new toy, no doubt will be getting into your ribs soon :D

When i bought it some one had attacked it with a brush :screaming_bug_eye_f So the decision wasnt hard.

I didnt primer it just went at it with the paint and 3" soft brush

Applied the matt black first then before it dried stuck on nato green and then feathered the edges as it started to dry

It only has one coat and if it gets scratched just go over the top,i got the paint off fleabay and it covers real well :D

Ive jet wasshed it a few times and its really tough and non has come off... stick up some before and after picks :clap2:
