ER hello tipex boys. . . .let me try un clear this up a bit. . .Mondo is correct ,the early gaylanders had the quirky lock up feel, fink it wez about 2002 that they changed the ird ratio's, this helped the lock up feel. . . .soo its a common thing fer the early models to have the lock up ,so stop twitchin yer stoopid earthlings i'm orft ta pub. . . . .

BTW the guard wont stop them from knackering through normal use/wear & tear.... its solely to protect it when off road from smashin off the rocks n stuff

Had my VCU changed last year, cost just over £300 inc parts and labour
