you can still insure a vehicle even without a licence, so if an accident was to happen the other driver at least has something to claim against as even minor damage/injuries cost a lot and as the saying goes where there's blame, there's a claim

I can legally hold a UK driving license at my current age.
I cannot legally hold a UK license in my state.

So what you're saying is that you have been assessed as not fit to drive a vehicle, yet you get behind the wheel at p+p's and possibly endanger other members of the public?

No not at all. The exact opposite. I cannot hold a license because I'm not disabled. A disable person can hold a license at 16. So it is not the age that is stopping me it is the fact that I am not disabled.

Khaos i think your digging yourself into a hole here with lots of guys a lot wiser than you watching so i suggest you think things over about your position on driving without a license / insurance.

I'm sorry but you're spouting rubbish to try and justify yourself. You say you're not disabled, so the legal age to hold a full car license is 17. If you are younger than 17 you cannot hold a license therefore it is because you are too young and fook all to do with disability.

Like someone previously posted if you was to hit someone with no licence / insurance then i think youd find yourself disabled pretty quickly.

I think you started off quite well to support you views but now i think your taking the ****

Well I'll take the first bit as a compliment. I don't have a problem with any of you guys on here that are reasonable, especially you as you seem to be bringing some thought back into this. I seem to remember having a conversation with johnlad about holymoorside and it made no difference how old I was then. What I have the problem with is people who are trying to simply exclude enthusiastic people who want to learn. That's why I joined this site and that is why I read through people's like your posts. Things are not always black and white and that is the problem with banning people. You don't just affect the idiots, you affect everybody.

As far as i can remember you can drive on private land with the owners permission, but said land must have no public access or right of way

Dont let the first bit go to your head think about the last bit ;)

And can you not see by driving with no insurance / license is advertising that is easy for the idiots to become more involved therfore spoiling something already tarnished with a bad reputation. ie off roading / green laining.

Of course.
But I do stand by the fact that I've never done anything illegal and all I, and most people are, is enthusiastic and wanting experience. I can't see any harm in that. I'm never close enough to run into someone and I make sure of that. Do you not think that my car means as much to me as yours do to you?
