you can still insure a vehicle even without a licence, so if an accident was to happen the other driver at least has something to claim against as even minor damage/injuries cost a lot and as the saying goes where there's blame, there's a claim
Time to leave now. Fearne you may as well start a new thread, this one's gone in a different direction I'm afraid.
omg, can you legally hold a driving license now in your current sate and age ??

I can legally hold a UK driving license at my current age.
I cannot legally hold a UK license in my state.
I don't have a license simply because I'm not old enough. It's not because I'm banned or anything if that's what you were wondering. All I can drive is a scooter right now (I don't have one though or want one).
So why are you driving then ??

I cannot legally hold a UK license in my state.
A minute ago you were too young ????
Because I can legally drive on privately owned land.
So what you're saying is that you have been assessed as not fit to drive a vehicle, yet you get behind the wheel at p+p's and possibly endanger other members of the public?
No not at all. The exact opposite. I cannot hold a license because I'm not disabled. A disable person can hold a license at 16. So it is not the age that is stopping me it is the fact that I am not disabled.

Dont let the first bit go to your head think about the last bitWell I'll take the first bit as a compliment. I don't have a problem with any of you guys on here that are reasonable, especially you as you seem to be bringing some thought back into this. I seem to remember having a conversation with johnlad about holymoorside and it made no difference how old I was then. What I have the problem with is people who are trying to simply exclude enthusiastic people who want to learn. That's why I joined this site and that is why I read through people's like your posts. Things are not always black and white and that is the problem with banning people. You don't just affect the idiots, you affect everybody.
