Jumping out of Diff Lock

Hi Everyone,

My 300 tdi disco keeps jumping out of diff lock. I can switch between low and high range easily.

Has anyone got any ideas what to start looking at?

I had the same problem in my 99 DI. The linkage just had some dried mud and rocks. Once I cleaned the mud and sprayed some lube on the linkage everything worked fine.

Hi there JB, can I just confirm - jumping out of difflock??? not high or low??

That seems quite unusual??

My V8 hybrid Range-Fender used to do the same thing. Dismantled it all and cleaned it up and seemed to be OK after that.
