Hi everyone I have 2008 d3 manual when reversing it clunk's also when you drive it feels lumpy as though something is under strain any idea what could be the issue before I start emptying my bank account thanks in advance regards Drew

Centre bearing support rubber failure quite common 80/100k onwards.

Plus 1 ^^^ , also heard it’s best to buy one from GKN and not one of the cheap copies off eBay

When was the parking brake last serviced? It's supposed to be done correctly every year if seizing issues are to be avoided.

If you have a spare prop check the rear u/j in all planes of travel before fitting it.

Nodges suggestion of checking the EPB is a good call.
