jammed 2a gearbox

offroading at the weekend and had a failed hill climb at the top i engaged reverse but when i released clutch it stalled the engine , i tried this a couple of times but the same happend each time when i finally got to bottom restarted and tried to pull waay and it woulnt move. tried high box with same effect and even tried neutral but every time i released clutch it stalled any ideas been told might be syncro lost a spring and wedged

i think its jammed between first and second try using third.

If its a 2a gbox theres no synchro on 1st/2nd so it won't affect those gears, only 3rd and 4th

Is it making noises and stalling when you try to drive away? Try low range and 3rd gear.

Have you tried moving in reverse, as you may have reverse engaged and will stall in all forward gears , sometimes happpens when doing frantic shift from fwd to rev and back HTSH

Check you havent bust a half shaft and the bit in the end isint jamming the rear diff.
