Have a look on flea bay ref polytunnel just the job and cheap as chips
I had a look at pollytunnel, but for £45 I can get a 3x4m gazebo with 4 sides which is probably going to be my cheapest option.

Thanks mate, I won't have this much space for much longer, I'm having to move in August with work so I'll won't have anywhere to do the rebuild for a whille, I'll have stuff all my gear in my dads garage temporarily. At least it should be rolling by then.

So, Iv got there rear axle 99% complete now, I finished off the drive flange and made the brake pipes, I accidentally put the callipers on the wrong side too so I had to swap them around as well. Iv just got to put the new magnetic diff pan plugs in and then fill it with oil now.

On another note, I went and collected my chassis from Richards this morning and put it in my dads garage, I can't get it down to mine for another few weeks so that'll give me time to finish off the front axle so I can get it rolling straight away. Well almost straight away, I need to give it a lick of paint first.
And I fixed the brakes on the trailer too.

Very impressive rebuild - looks great. Well done, mate.
I went for a Richard's Chassis too. On the whole very pleased with it, but the passenger side tubular outrigger seems to be out of position by about 7-8mm so I'll have to put a packing piece in to bolt the body to it there.

Gatso, What does gikn mean?
I'm also a bit concerned about the lugs on the rear cross member, struggling to reach the rear body cross member.
Which bits have you found to be misaligned? Same bit everytime?

GKN are the manufacturer of chassis for Land Rover and marslands buy direct from them they then put specific mounts eng rad etc on them to suit customers needs ie I had a ROW chassis for my 90 build later chassis but with eng and rad mounts for a 300tdi probe with Richards chassis I've had are power steering box hitting cross member when it was made by them to do a series 3 with p steering [emoji90] engine mounts on another to low and too far back [emoji90]tub mounts on another too low various holes missing [emoji90] I will no longer use or fit a RICHARDS CHASSIS which is a shame because spike and alister are nice blokes [emoji26]rant over lol

Bugger, I think my tub mounts are too low. One of them has been pushed off the rear cross member by the weld, so stands off 2 or 3 mm so the lugs don't all sit flush up against the tub. hey ho

fingers crossed mine will line up perfectly, Iv got a galvanised bulkhead coming next week too.

Where are you getting your bulkhead from?

Looking good mate. Not far from me when you where collecting that chassis.
It's where mine came from too and never had any problems with alignment, and was very happy with it.
Was good having a wander around their workshop while I was their too

I bought it from a company called land rover refurb ( Land Rover Refurb - Land Rover Refurb Yorkshire ) it comes with all the threads retaped and etch primed. When I was looking for a new one they seemed the best option.

Bought mine from Ashtree Landrover. Cost about £875 including delivery. Wasn't etch primed, though you got the Twash included. I can only see their price for a fully painted and fitted one.
Or was it £900 +, I'd have to get the invoice out.
