Had a search through but what am looking for is when you blank your EGR do you disconnect both the multi plugs on the wing or just the one if so which one?? Cheers guy's

Not sure about a disco but on other cars you leave it connected to stop any warning lights or fault codes.

Leave everything connected. Don't remove more components than necessary - that way it is easy to refit the EGR valve if the mot regulations are changed.

on my 300tdi, as the EGR was working properly, and sealing fine, I didnt blank it off, just unplugged the sensor on the top of it.
no warning lights to illuminate on a 300tdi defender tho

I disconnected the electrical plugs to both the actuators as per instructions on Alive Tuning website....
"It is recommended that you disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the EGR modulator(s), to prevent vacuum from being applied to the now
redundant vac hose(s). The engine management will then sense there is no EGR system fitted, so will disable any attempts of EGR operation."

This assumes you have correctly blanked the vacuum pipes.

+1. Make sure vacuum pipes are blanked off or replace vacuum pipe from vacuum pump to brake servo.

Thanks guys. Bit of advice don't change your rotary filter at the same time like i was as a allen bolt has fell rite into the filter and down into the sump :doh: what a knob.

Unplug the electrical connectors on the solenoids and tape them up, tie wrap behind/to the power steering reservoir, unplug the rubber tube going to the air box and plug the hole, unplug the 'T' from the vacuum pipe to the solenoids (white) and plug it properly, remove the solenoids and do a proper job, much neater, keep all the clutter just in case!
