Thanks guys. Had to clean it for the MOT, not sure why I bothered, he missed all sorts of bits, including the blown brake light bulb.

It doesn't rub on the road, although I've not taken it further than round the block.

I reckon it will catch on the front of the front wings and possibly at the door bottoms on the back, but I'll have a better idea when i've taken it down some lanes.

I'll keep you posted!!!

ffs....why are people fitting police spec springs, then going laning & off roading?

surely the worst option to off road (I got an off roader, and got an on roader with police spec springs...and defo wouldn't want to take it off the tarmac...way too hard)

Whats going on?

(looks great with those wheels on tho)

I hear what your saying, and to a point I agree, however, I use my car on the road more than I use it off road, hence I prefer a slightly firmer ride as opposed to something that resembles a bed. The new wheels and tyres won't be a "permanent" addition, I still have the original alloys and road biased tyres that will be on most of the time.

Secondly, I have read about a couple of people who have fitted the Police Spec springs and then gone on to do very well in trials events, leading me to believe that they dont totally ruin the off road abilities of the car.

At the end of the day, springs are cheap, if they don't work for me, I'll change em!!!!!
