Shes Dark Green (not sure on colour name help[ appreciated), 95 N reg, 300tdi 3 door.

Shes only had 1 owner from new and has got FSH nearly all welding done (il probably find bits when i get her home and start to fiddle) but the main bits look ok

Pics wil follwo when i get her home..

So few questions, does removing the egr make a big difference?
Iv read about upping the boost (unsure how yet) and does this make a difference?

1st change will be the casett and speakers as they arnt the best, poss new wheels as dont really like the steelies on it, then who knows where il go.

Congrats! Joined the disco club about 6 months ago and wish I'd done it sooner.

Now, the reason for reported increases in turbo efficiency are likely due to the removal of all the oily gunk clogging up the hose and manifold behind the EGR. Amazing how much crud accumulates after so many years.

Personally, I found Red to be a little more torquy. This could be my imagination but the reduced smoke certainly isn't.

Hi mate, welcome to the Disco club.
There's a thread on here that explains turning up the diesel pump.
Just look for the following in the searches -
Sluggish disco...not any more

It's the best performance tweak you can do, in addition to the EGR removal and de-cat, and it's easy to do as well.

Enjoy!!
