After having 2 new wheel bearings and 2 new drive flanges and a new maf sensor and diff oils changed....ive now been told my 110 td5 has "bits of metal in transfer box oil"
More dusty than large fragments. I fear my already emptying wallet could nt stretch to a new transfer box as yet.
Will more regular oil changes assist the lifespan? Or indeed using heavier oil?.
Gear changes seem fine, no resistance or loud whines yet, no clunks at present. Hopefully it may have some life yet?????
Any assistance or advice greatly appreciated.
Cheers
