I know that feeling - our hospital had to send for a porter to transport my husband's notes around.Consultant joked yesterday that my medical record is so big they need a seperate trolley just to wheel it around and a weeks notice to get it out.
I figured you'd await having your keyhole surgery John.Right with all the banter I've been thinking. How about we have the inaugural Rubberknees witty remark cheer me up competition So far there have been some beauties'. @Jon Dor you will need to post your EKA one for it to count. Winners will be announced later in the week and prizes will be what ever is left in my pockets after the wife has gone through them
How are you getting on with your treatment?I wish you the best in the future.
Personally John I wouldn't want to touch anything that's been in your pockets ,well not without full PPERight with all the banter I've been thinking. As you all probably know I have problems with my health over the years. Dodgy ticker among other things. Well I've decided to add another to the collection now. A few of the lads on here have been supporting me these last 3 weeks as I was found to have a large tumor in my colon. This has turned out to be cancer. Thankfully I can not praise the speed with which the NHS at Rotherham have tested scanned and looked after me. I have been given every assistance I and my wife need. Today after seeing the consultant he has confirmed that by the 22nd of this month I will be in for surgery to have the tumor removed. This is the only option open to me as the tumor is not in a position for Radiotherapy and because of my heart problems Chemo would kill me. The prognosis looks Ok though in time Mcmillan have warned me that there is a 50% chance the cancer will return.
SO me and @Jon Dor were wondering if my body could some how be a Land Rover. I am always breaking down and have numerous faults to boot. Or have I just come out in sympathy with having owned many LR's.
Don't know the meaning of the wordSo sorry to read of anyone that is suffering from it, the "C" is a bastid.
Well I've had it twice now, and as far as I know I'm OK - probably - so your chances are good. Keep your chin up, and Never, Never, Never Surrender.
