Well after 9 years of owning the same p38 it now does off road work. The local farmer has given me permission to shoot pigeons on his land. Thats 700 acres of farmland tracks and she loves it.
Ive only just power washed her down with all the winter mud as its all dried now .
One bad thing
Was going a bit fast down the farm track last week and the rear air bags gave way. Yes both of them. So yesterday morning was spent replacing them . They were well fooched and looked like a worn tyre from an african scrap yard.
Its now transformed the suspension on the car and now behaves itself a lot better on the tarmac. So if you feel like your on tracks in your p38 it might be down to bulging furbered air suspension.

If you're doing a lot of splashing through deep puddles then make sure you're greasing your UJs regularly after off roading.

Doesn't say a lot for your maintenance ethic, if you have to wait for them to pop before you look at them. ;);)
