Went to look and this might just have come home with me!!

Will be appearing on another forum as well now. Hopefully not to be thrown off this one!!!
Steep learning curve but very interesting so far.

Careful on the other side.
Have had some very complementary and helpful responses, even with the G4 front wing in the photo !

Drove it back about 70 miles from near Frome to home on Thursday night. Not really a vehicle that is at home on the M5, but on local roads it is the business, even if I do need a couple of acres to turn a circle !!!
Just downloaded manual and looking at checking diesel distributor pump, goes fine but maybe a bit low on power, maybe it is just the very low gearing, seems a simple job to fit an overdrive or replace final drive gears.
Sorted out a few electricals today, mostly bad connections.
Steering box adjustment tomorrow, little bit vague. All joints are new. Play seems to be in box.
It's a smile a mile !

Canwecanwecanwepleeeeease???

Oh, OK then. As long as you help me clean it and look after it!!
For further info on this vehicle and the ongoing journey, please see post in the Series forum.

Enough corruption of the Freelander forum I think!!
Thanks for all the interest so far

I prefer the term "pre-weathered".

I don't want to scrub too hard, once the rust falls off I don't know what will be left!
