Hi guys, I have a problem with the air con/ heater in my 2005 Range Rover l322 td6. I cant get either hot or cold air to come out of the drivers side vents. Just tepid warm air. Passenger side is fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,
Andy

Hi, thanks for the links. I can’t see anything that relates to my problem. Do you think that a regas could affect one side of the car?.
Cheers, Andy
A regas will not affect one side of the car. If the passenger side is OK, the problem I guess will be a blend motor on the drivers side, although I don't know the L322 too well.

thanks, for the reply. I have no idea what a blend motor is. Do you think that this is a big job or, could I tackle it myself?.
Many thanks,
Andy

Hi, should I assume that there are 2 blend motors on my Rangey?, both working independently on either side of the car?.

Download Rave Manual System and Description - there are pages of information in the manual.
Two pages for starters

Not too bad on a P38, no idea on the L322. Putting it on diagnostics may give you a definitive answer to the problem.
Saint V8 is the L322 guru.

Could it be just the duct from the heater box to the vent has come off ? If you remove the panel above the pedals you will soon see, its only a push fit (I think) on to the box.

If it’s a similar layout to my old e46 330d which I imagine it might be. The air con system needs quite a lot of gas. When I did mine the passenger side got ice cold whilst the two drivers side vents were still warm. I forget why this is but I had to fill the air con system until the drivers side was cold too.
Do a search on google for bmw e46 air con coming out cold on passenger side only. Might help you out.

OP said he's getting warm air out of that vent still so I'd assume it's connected.
