Hi all,

I had an engine performance issue where the car cut out - presumed it was the intercooler hose from the throttle body (the short one) however, I have changed this for a silicone one and intermittently the car jerks when it hits about 3500rpm and then carrys on.

Could it be another intercooler hose or is there something else I need to look at?

I have checked and there are no fault codes showing.

Any suggestions would be very welcome

TIA

As 3500 RPM is well above maximum torque, there's little point in pushing it that hard, so few drivers do.

As for the issue, it could be any number of things, like the TB, EGR valve, sticking turbo actuator, or injector related.
