I've got a broken down RRC in the garage ready to do nothing if it snows. At least it has 50 litres of petrol in it so if i get really cold, i can just set fire to it

A box of matches (or a lighter) and a few long lasting night light candles. Just a candle burning is enough I'm reliably informed to keep you from freezing to death. Safe in a diesel not so sure about V8's though.
