is this repairable chassis ?

This happens from reveresin in to a wall the damage is were the tow bar bolts on to frame ... the towing eye and tow ball took the inpacked there is pics of both sides is this a m.o.t failure ? Is it repairable ? Anyone know if its even safe to tow a caravan with ?

Hi John, I would take it to a good panel beater and obtain their expert opinion as to any possible safety issue. They may be able to repair by fill in and/or weld, they have various ways. I had a hand brake mount crack on me for a previous vehicle (Hyundai not my KV6 or 1.8 Freelander) and the panel beater simply welded it back where it came apart. I would get their expert opinion.
 
Flamin' 'ell.... how fast were you going in reverse???
It looks like a body shop would need to "Dozer" that out or straighten it with on a JIG.

Sorry... I have just joined the site today - hence a few months after your post!
