is this noise a driveshaft problem?

I have a 2002 freelander td4
I have a knocking from the front, which I think is either driveshafts or top mounts. I have checked bottom arms a drop links
I have put a video showing the driveshafts have play. But is this normal or not.
Could you have a look and let me know what you think. Is this normal play or do the driveshafts need replacement.

yes it knock over bumps, but not sure if its driveshafts or top mount bearings? It started about 1000km after I changed the clutch. So wondered if the driveshafts went back in a slightly different position and has caused wear? I have tried full lock in a car park looking for cv joint wear, but nothing. I have double checked all the bolts that we undone to do the clutch, including the subframe and engine mounts etc

If it's only on bumps, then likely not the driveshaft.

I'd look at the top mounts and the ARB bushes...
If you do have to replace the mounts - try to buy genuine LR top mounts. I recently used new borg & beck mounts on my F2, but one gave a 'knocking'. Switched for genuine LR and it stopped straight away.

I have some ARBs in the garage. I assume its best to drop the subframe to change them?
No - you can just undo the clamps holding them onto the subframe. You can get the bushes on/off with the bar in place.

Before that, you might be able to find the source of your 'knock' by just prying around with a crow bar...

Had a ,look this afternoon, one side the bolts to the ARB come off, the other side is rounding off. I am lucky to have a 2 post lift, so will drop the subframe, and then be able to get a good grip on the offending bolts and get the other arb out. Had a good pryabout, and can not find anything apart from ARB,s look worn. The knocking seems worse under load uphill, so reading about, wonder if cheap supermarket fuel in France might be giving engine knock? So once the arb,s are done I am going to get some good injecter cleaner and fill up with esso, gasoil and see what happens. Will post back once all done
