evert have a 1992 3.9 Range Rover LHD based in Tenerife. It starts immediately every time but will not restart when turned off after a short or long run. Waiting 15 to 20 minutes it will then start again. This can be pretty awkward at times if I forget the problem and turn it off in the queue for fuel!!
The issue happens in P and N so I do not think it is the inhibitor switch or wear on the linkage.
I have read everything I can find about this and I am hoping it may be the starter relay but not sure where this is located on a LHD a vehicle. I do not have a copy of RAVE unfortunately.
I would be very grateful for any pointers as over here it is virtually impossible to find anyone that can work on these vehicles and I have done most things myself but am no electrician unfortunately.
