Good point about retrofitting the heater box. That does look factory though.

I am a glass half full type of guy, an eternal optimist and living in my own little fantasy world most of the time. The medication does help but makes the thoughts more vivid.def a 3 well partial one

hi . i'm sure that its an early series 3. the bonnet drip channel is in two parts. the later 3's had a complete channel. i noticed this when i did loads of work on my 1971 series 3 bulkhead and ended up cutting and welding together the best of the older original one and salvage newer one. i also thought that the metal was slightly thicker on the older bulkhead or maybe i've been breathing in too many welding fumes!

A proper Yorkshireman is less definite on being a glass half full or half empty type of guy.
He will want to know who's round it is before committing himself
