Forget all that with all the gadgets if you stalled it you probably wont get it started as the batteries would be flat , that alone would stop you using it for any overlanding... I am sure it would last long in a rest stop whilst you pop in for a pee and a Croque monsieur.
I think its too much of a liability for anyone to use from a rescue perspective (you know how it is now), and also I can see many testers failing it just for the obstruction to the windscreen and stilly things like a 2kg Maglite right in front of the passengers face held by a clip.. I am sure that would go down well in the event of a front on collision from a third party.
I hope whomever is unfortunate enough to acquire has a mighty strong garage though.
This feels a little like too much time and too much money and before you know it the solution is over-engineered. I just don't understand night vision in the visor.... why ? so you can see what's in front of you.. how about closing your visor and turn the lights on ?
