is something missing??

Hi, been working through the list of stuff to do of my ever troubled disco, when I was under it the other day I noticed that a mounting point on the chassis had nothing mounted to it, I have attached some photos.

Not sure is its there in relation to a LHD model or a bit missing..Was hoping the latter as it might cure the death wobble!

also noticed the new ball joint I fitted has got a film of oil over it, leaking steering box? is there a seal or o ring kit available? or is it a new box

Mounting for LHD so nothings missing.
Oil.. could be coming from anywhere but it's likely to be from the steering box coming out of the seal above the drop arm and running down.
You can buy seal kits but most recommend buying a new or recon box.
