I am sitting at a Land Rover dealer in Tumen Russia with a Wheel bearing collapsed (I think)but up until now I have had other problems.
Low voltage giving weird faults Replaced Alternator in Sweden
3 1/2 year old airbag leaks. Ordered 2 new and had them freighted to Norway and they both leak done the spray check with soapy water. Having to put up with them as not a fast a leak as the one replaced got another 10 000 miles to go yet.
Battery gave up the ghost in Sweden as well 1 1/2 year old Alphina 135 ah 1000cca replaced with new but could only get 95ah 720 cca but is much better than the 120cca the old one was putting out.
Sat nav threw a wobbly but righted itself
Tyre got spiked in Russia so had to get a new one in Murmansk surprisingly they had a 18 in Michelin Latitude cro
The joys of travelling.
Also my inverter for running my computers packed up.
Air con has lost all its gas only new compressor and condenser rad and new hoses fitted and dryer. gassed up and working when we left UK 7 weeks ago and now its getting bloody hot here
Oh I forgot to mention that when I did the rear Air Spring I touched the brake pipe over the rear axle and it was rusted through so had to replace both rear brake pipes with copper and it was ****ing with rain most of the time
What Next ?
Dont tell me Ive got an Auto box to look forward to Overheating problems of a Diesel Viscous coupling propshaft UJs CV joints and other various electrics to play with.
