Hi all,
my freelanders diff packed in, so i got a used one fitted after 200 miles of driving this went as well due to a leak, and me not noticing. now i know it can be used in 2wd if i remove the driveshaft but is it possible to do this with the rear diff removed. i understand the rear half shafts would then be loose so can these be removed or would this expose too much at the hub or is it a part of the hub make up.
At this stage all i want is the freelander back on the road as cheap as poss any ideas please let me know/
thanks jas
