Is it a bad idea to put RedEx Petrol treatment in my 1984 2.25 Petrol Landy?

I just bought some for my everyday car & had an extra bottle. I was going to put it in but something said to me find out if its ok first.
Has anyone done this before?
I mean it should be ok ....right?
i just dont want to be the first one to learn the hard way.
Thanks all

Not a problem. It will just clean up the jets and things a bit.

Put it into a low tank and then only half fill the tank to get maximum cleaning power - it says a FULL tank on the bottle, however, some cars have a 35 litre tank, some cars have a 100litre tank... get my drift?

You can also take the spark plugs out and pop some in the cylinders, cover the plug gap and turn over and let it soak in for 30 mins, bung the rest in the tank refit the spark plugs and watch out for the lovely cloud of white smoke when you start it. I use to put it through old cars that wau a few days befor the MOT to get the emission down a bit
